Mohamad Syfkhan is an Kurdish Syrian bouzouki player and singer based in Ireland.

Bab L’Bluz are a French-Moroccan band with a second album on the way.

Maluf System are a duo from Tunisia and Naples playing a traditional ‘maluf’ repertoire.

Aziza Brahim, from the disputed territory of Western Sahara, grew up in a refugee camp in Algeria.


Forest Law is a London-based musician and producer.

Eric Hilton was co-founder of Thievery Corporation, now in solo mode.

Herandu are Siberian duo, Evgeny & Mikhail Gavrilov.

Shakti are a band of virtuosos including John McLaughlin and Zakir Hussain.


ØXN are part of the new wave of Irish folk with two members from Lankum.

Ruth Goller is a UK-based bassist with a track record in experimental contemporary music.

Fado singer, Lina, collaborates with Justin Adams on her songs based on the poetry of Camões.

Saxophonist John Surman is a giant of UK contemporary jazz.

Máire Ni Chathasaigh classic and pioneering 1985 album of traditional harp music has been re-released.
