Raquel Cruces collects and arranges Iberian songs for percussion and voice.
Ana Crisman is a groundbreaking Spanish flamenco harpist.
Altin Gün’s sixth album is a tribute to Turkish folk artist Neşet Ertaş.

“Léve Léve” is a collection of music from 1970s and ’80s São Tomé & Principe.
Mama Sissoko is a 77-year old Malian guitar veteran and bandleader.
Kunbe are a decade-long collaboration between Malian musicians and two French brothers.
Mariama Kouyaté, vocalist, and Vieux Cissokho, kora and vocals, are from Senegal.

Lamisi is a contemporary African singer-songwriter from Ghana.
BCUC, or Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness, are a high-energy outfit from Soweto.
Shake Stew are an Austrian seven-piece jazz-rock band.
Dub Colossus were formed by the late Nick Page, combing dub with Ethiopian connections.
Soothsayers are an Afro-dub collective from London.
Protoje, aka Oje Ken Ollivierre, is a Jamaican reggae singer and songwriter.

Voginha is a Cape Verdean guitarist who has played with both Bau and Cesaria Evora.
Guitarist John Scofield and bassist Dave Holland are huge figures in the jazz world.
L’Antidote are a trio of Bijan Chemirani (Iran) and Rami Khalifé (Lebanon), with Redi Hasa on cello.
Gregory Uhlmann is a Chicago-born musician and composer based in L.A.
Omar Sosa is a Cuban pianist and bandleader with many global collaborations.
