Wax Machine are exponents of psychedelic folk-rock from Brighton, UK.

Folk explorer Sam Amidon, and Welsh “primitive” guitar artist, Gwenifer Raymond, are both heading for Womad.


Tumi Mogorosi is a South African percussionist with band and nine-piece choir.

Veteran wind player, Bennie Maupin, and percussionist, Adam Rudolph, pay tribute to the late Yusef Lateef.

Helena Recalde is a bassist, singer and composer from Quito, based in Paris.


Bush Gothic are an Australian folk band traversing the troubled history of their land.

Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage are an Americana and folk duo from Cambridge, UK.

Spell Songs are a folk supergroup performing songs based on the writings and illustrations of Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris.

BJ Cole, English guitarist, is one of the musicians featured on Luke Schneider’s adventurous pedal steel compilation.
