DJ Fantome is the resident DJ in the Zando market in Kinshasa with non-professional voices from that underground scene.
Dumama is a Berlin-based South African poet and composer.
Moussa T is a Tuareg guitarist and singer from Niger.
Kay Slice is a Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Rotterdam.
Amadou & Mariam’s last album came out several months after Amadou’s death last year.

The late Sly Dunbar is reputed to have played on 200,000 recordings. The earlier recordings included an Upsetters tune and Dave & Ansil Collins’ “Double Barrel” which went to No. 1 in the UK. He was in the forefront of reggae’s international boom in the 1970s with The Mighty Diamonds, Culture and Junior Murvin, and was in huge demand from then on both within reggae and in many other genres.

Leo Middea is a guitarist and songwriter from Rio who has settled in Barcelona.
Bahian artist Lucas Santtana takes the theme of the Brazilian language for his new album.
Guitarist Fabiano do Nascimento, with orchestrations by Vittor Santos, pays homage to the Rio neighbourhood where he grew up.
Pianist Vitor Araújo’s album is a live recording with Amsterdam’s Metropole Orkest.
Seven Crows is L.A. violinist and producer Chris Murphy.
