Erol Josue is a singer, dancer and vodou priest from Haiti.

Polobi is a traditional singer from Guadeloupe, with musical soundscapes from Doctor L, Liam Farrell.

Les Mamans du Congo are from Congo Brazzaville with production and backing from Rrobin.

“Borga Revolution” chronicles the modernised highlife style of the ’80s and ’90s by Ghanaian expats in Europe.

The Good Samaritans were part of the Edo-funk movement in early 1980’s Benin City.

Mogadishu’s Dur-Dur Band had a reunion in Berlin resulting in a new album.

Ofege were a popular Nigerian student band in the 1970s, now reissued.

Bassidi Koné is Malian djembe and balafon player with his debut solo album.

The largely Malian Kala Jula quartet are augmented by Benin’s Gangbé Brass Band.

Trilok Gurtu is an Indian percussionist and composer with a career in jazz fusion.

Kahil El’Zabar’s collective pays tribute to the late jazz adventurer Don Cherry.

Wadada Leo Smith, now in his 80s, plays with an all-star cast of heavyweights.

Letieres Leite sadly died before completing his reworking of Moacir Santos’s 1965 “Coisas”.

Tunico is Antonio Secchin, multi-instrumentalist and composer from Rio.

Pianist Jonathan Ferr, also from Rio, blends jazz and hiphop with plenty of guests.

Tagua Tagua’s Felipe Puperi brings Brazilian soul from Sao Paulo.

Maria Portugal, Brazilian based in Europe, composed a soundtrack for Portuguese movie “1976”.
