Ann O’Aro is a passionate contemporary singer and poet from La Réunion.

Savan is Colombian electronic artist Jose Miguel Navas inspired by indigenous rituals.

Nancy Vieira is a singer from Cape Verde with accompanists from the Basque country, Brazil and Ukraine.

The Ipanemas were a Brazilian samba institution led by Wilson Das Neves and Neco.

Wendell Harrison, 81, is an American saxophonist, activist and label-founder.

The Ethnic Heritage Ensemble was founded in 1973 by Khalil El’Zabar.

Kosmo Sound are a six-piece Belgian dub outfit encompassing jazz and global influences.

Tiken Jah Fakoly is a leading African reggae artist from Côte d’Ivoire.

Dele Sosimi is a veteran of Fela Kuti’s band, resident in the UK.

Bonnie Light Horseman is a US folk trio featuring singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell.

Awen Ensemble is an eight-strong outfit based in Leeds and combining folk with jazz.

Kaia Kater with a heritage from Grenada, is a Canadian singer and multi-instrumentalist.

Ruth Goller is a UK-based bassist with a track record in experimental contemporary music.

Nino Gvilia is an imaginary character created by sound artist Giulia Deval.
